Kubota Corporation is a manufacturer of tractors and heavy machinery located in Osaka, Japan. The company was founded in 1890.
The company produces a variety of products, including:

The model range of Kubota tractors (Kubota) is mainly made up of small-sized machines with high maneuverability and affordable cost. For work with high tractive effort, the concern produces equipment of the M series, with a capacity of up to 140 hp.
The Japanese concern has set up serial production of tractor equipment since the 60s of the last century. The results of the corporation's half-century presence on the market are more than a hundred different products and 4 basic series. The Kubota tractor lineup mainly contains middle class equipment and compact units. The manufacturer produces special equipment in the engine power range: 18 - 140 hp. These indicators are sufficient for the operation of machines from the private sector to municipal services and large agricultural holdings.
Basic series of Kubota tractors
The variable range of Kubota's special equipment has a set of common features. The models combine maneuverability and compactness with sufficient traction for agricultural operations. Completely, the Kubota tractor range includes 4 series:
BX. The line is succinctly described as a mini-class tractor unit, where the main emphasis is on the safety of the operator. Cars with a capacity of up to 25 h.p. optimal for use in private households.
B. Compact tractors Kubota targeted at small-scale farming. High maneuverability and small dimensions of the devices are aimed at working in confined spaces. Alternatively, the B series models are an excellent choice for landscaping.
L. Series additionally focused on the utility sector. Power 30 h.p. enough for laying pipelines, cleaning territories. The functionality of the units expands the ability to install auxiliary working units: buckets, bulldozer dumps.
M. Models with the most powerful engine of the Kubota tractor.
The last category of equipment from the Japanese manufacturer is capable of developing power up to 140 hp. The Kubota tractors of this series are equipped with an E-CDIS engine with a central direct injection system. The unit is characterized by low noise level, economical fuel consumption without loss of performance.
Compact tractors Kubota
In fact, the Japanese manufacturer predominantly manufactures small tractors. Mid-range cars are represented exclusively by the M series.
A distinctive feature of the small-sized Kubota tractors is the use of a hydraulic return mechanism. The technology provides a change in the trajectory of tractor equipment, without a clutch pedal. Another important characteristic of Kubota mini tractors is four-wheel drive, with the optional disconnection of the rear wheelset.
A striking example of a mini-tractor of an eastern concern is the 1200 model. Basic technical characteristics of the Kubota compact tractors:
2-cylinder branded diesel engine with a volume of 479 cc;
power - 12 hp;
open cabin;
rotation speed with PTO 540/1000 rpm;
the number of forward / reverse gears is 6 and 2, respectively.
An attractive aspect of the Kubota farming tractor is its low operating costs. Fuel consumption for small vehicles does not exceed 1.4 l / h.
If you need to increase the degree of operator comfort, you can purchase a tractor with a closed cab. The demand for a specific model is determined by the scope of potential operation: on the site or in a greenhouse, other premises.
Where high tractive effort is needed
Separately, in the model range of Japanese agricultural machinery, there is the M series. The machines perform a wide range of tasks in soil cultivation and sowing. The technical characteristics of the Kubota tractors are conveniently viewed on the M9540 model.
The primary parameters of this variation of agricultural machinery:
- 4-cylinder engine of the Kubota V3800-DI-TE3 tractor with turbocharging;
- rated power parameters with a rotation speed of 100 hp, 2600 rpm, respectively;
- working volume of a diesel engine - 3769 cc;
- fuel reserve - 110 l;
- turning radius - 3.8 m.
- The lifting capacity of the tractor at the link end is fixed at 4100 kg. The maximum travel speed is 39 km / h. The lower travel limit reaches 430 m / h. Switching of motion parameters is carried out by a 6-speed gearbox. Each wheel is equipped with a wet disc hydraulic braking system.
Subgroup GX M series
These are the most powerful models produced by the Kubota Corporation. The flagship tractor product is the M135GX. The tractor is equipped with a proprietary V6108-TI-CRS engine with the following configuration:
4 cylinders;
135 h.p. power;
190 l fuel tank.
The total weight of the equipment remains quite low - 4.7 tons. The dimensions of the advanced model are kept relatively compact. The length of the tractor is limited to 4.4, with a wheelbase of 2.69 m. The carrying capacity of the Kubot flagship at the ends of the rear levers is 3100 kg.
From tractor to front loader
Easy replacement of attachments ensures the versatility of the Kubota tractor equipment. The L series deserves special attention.
Distinctive features of the most popular tractors of this model range (LA1153 / 1353):
- canted boom design;
- operational transformation of the machine into a loader or excavator;
- high level of visibility from the co*ckpit;
- the location of the hydraulic lines inside the loader boom;
- wide range of bucket volumes 0.26 - 1.6 cubic meters.
