Phen Rx is a fat burning supplement that are marketed to increase your energy levels and burn fast all at the same time. Nexgen Biolabs is the company that manufactures it, and this product is similar to the diet pill Phentermine. It has the same story as many diet pills on the market today with side effects and warnings issued to certain people taking medications. Let’s take a look into how this product works, and if it is worth the investment of $39.99 for one bottle of 60 capsules. Or if you are looking into the patches, they will cost $19.99 for 30 patches.

This is a simple product with just one rule, to take it daily. There are no other instructions when taking Phen Rx. There are two different types of Phen Rx to take, either orally or by patch. Essentially the formula is meant to deactivate the alpha-2 receptors which helps the body store needed fat for “survival” purposes even if there is too much of it. While the receptors are being deactivated the pill is also supposed to rev up the body’s metabolism to burn more calories. The last thing this diet pill is trying to achieve is the reduction of hunger and cravings which will also reduce the number of calories taken in.
In short, I will provide a list of ingredients below.
The pill is supposed to be taken 30 minutes before breakfast, and then the second tablet for the day is advised to be taken 30 minutes before dinner. Two pills per day until the first bottle is completely gone.
The Bottom Line
This product has many “claims” such as increasing your metabolism, and reducing hunger cravings for the user. It is advised to take two pills per day for 30 days as a start.
Is Phen Rx Safe?
This diet pill is going to come with side effects, because the ingredient list is so large, and they are all synthetic man-made ingredients. The patch however is a little different, so I am looking directly into the pills when making claims whether it is safe or not.
Patch Ingredients: Angelica Root, Safflower, Prunus Persica Extract, Raphansus Sativus Extract, Lotus Leaf, Cassia Seed Extract, Wolfporia Cocos, Aloe Vera. [1]
Pill Ingredients: Synephrine HCL, 1,3,7 Trimethylxanthine, Schizandrol, Beta Phenylethylamine, Yohimbine. Essentially, these are just big words for caffeine, and bitter orange which are stimulants for energy as well as reduction for hunger. [2]
The only real side effects noted with this supplement are jitters and potential headaches and nausea. These are rather minor and could be more intense for you depending on your situation. Always check with a doctor before you take any diet pill like Phen Rx, especially if you are on other medication as it could potentially interfere.
The Bottom Line
This is just another run of the mill diet pill with ingredients like bitter orange for hunger reduction and caffeine for energy. Nothing is dangerous about Phen Rx to the naked eye, but be aware of hidden side effects and always check with a doctor before taking it.
Pros and Cons of Phen Rx
The only pros in my opinion are the places Phen Rx is sold (online at Amazon, and Walmart, GNC, etc.). These are all reputable places, that should not be a cause for concern. Another pro is the cost, because it will not break the bank with its cost. Cons are much more than pros simply because of the side effects and the short term results it could pose. This is just a diet pill, and there is no education about healthy eating or exercise that it given the customer therefore you will have short term results as long as you are taking the pill.
With that being said, you may not even see the results you are hoping for with Phen Rx because it has not been said to work miracles (what diet pill really does?). It may cause short term burst of energy and some reduction of cravings but it will most likely just be short lived. There are also risks of addiction when taking Phen Rx so if you are prone to certain addictions, walk cautiously around Phen Rx. [3]

This diet pill is just a pill with a few stimulants and nothing more. There are more cons than pros when purchasing it.
Conclusion
The Phen Rx diet pill is not impressive, and it is a bit overpriced for what you are really getting. The side effects are minor which is a great thing, but they are still present. In short, this pill is an investment you will want to proceed with caution when thinking about purchasing. Always consult a doctor before taking any new diet pills, especially Phen Rx.
