"Managed Resources cannot enter time???"Posted 2021-03-30
Pros: - Good high-level view of projects.
- Can quickly add projects.
- Decent cost / revenue reporting.
- Easy to implement.Cons: - ERP pricing for a glorified spreadsheet.
- Extremely expensive if you want any managed resources to view or enter any data.
- Terrible interface for time entry (responsive web site, time entry limited to single-day view on mobile devices).
- Managed resources cannot enter time.
- No time interface, it's a fire-and-forget database export.
- Mislead during the sales process.
- Managed resources cannot view project information page.Overall: We purchased this to replace our spreadsheet management setup. Buyer beware; the capabilities between licensed users and managed users is blurred during the sales cycle. Project participants cannot see the project pages, schedules, information, time, etc. only licensed "power users".
Overall, a complete bust for us, a total waste of time and effort.

Pros: 10,000ft offered by Smartsheet provides us a versatile platform to oversee projects and reports. It helped my team to stay on top of every project. The best thing is its flexible planning and tracking of expenses and time spent on each project. I liked being able to create multiple boards for every project.
Cons: Nothing so far, I'm using this from 6 months till now didn't had any problem.
Overall: Overall, 10,000ft is an absolutely incredible tool for projects and tracking of expenses and time. The interface is streamlined and best suited for project tracking, recommend to everyone.
